Kids in the office

"Kids in the Office" is an opportunity for our employees’ children to discover what mom or dad do at work.  This initiative is a learning experience for our children and an opportunity for parents to share a part of their personal life with colleagues. 

‘Kids in the Office’ includes workshops, age-appropriate games and fun, all designed to make the parents workplace known to children. 

Our Italian HQ and Spanish affiliate have already implemented this initiative. 

Training Island

Training Island

“Training Island” is an inclusive working environment for people with disabilities.  Started in 2012 at our Italian plant in Albizzate, we have collaborated with special-needs individuals on a job-training program for an agreed-upon period.  At the end of the work experience some of the people have been hired with a full time contract and they continue to actively contribute to the growth of our business.  ‘Training Island’ started with seven people and has steadily grown, involving up to about 100 people.

Open Plants

Open Plants

“Open Plants” is an initiative that currently takes place in Italy and Spain and involves schoolchildren or university students.  We recognize the importance of bringing local communities closer to our plants and daily activities.

For one entire day schoolchildren or university students come to visit the production facilities and laboratories, guided by our employees.  Our aim is to make younger generations aware of the role of chemistry in their lives and the society they live in.

Trees for the Future

Trees for the Future

“Trees for the future” intends to make our planet greener through two global initiatives.

Lamberti Hydrocolloids Pvt Ltd in India promoted a community tree planting initiative in September 2019 through which 100 Neem trees were planted close to our factory.

Neem trees are highly beneficial to the environment because they have a remarkable ability to withstand heat as well as air and water pollution. 

On the other side of the world, we promoted the planting of 1000 trees in South America. This initiative was enacted through a gift card that employees could use to symbolically plant a tree.  After the initial planting, the donor could trace the tree’s growth and development over the years. In this way, we created our own forest!
