Lamberti has been producing liquid dyestuffs through chemical synthesis since the beginning of ninetieth, and is continuously improving new products with newer characteristics.
With the exception of sulphur dyes, obtained through a chemical reduction of dye bases, all the other synthesis dyes are manufactured through reactions of intermediate chemicals.
Reaction products are purified by removal of residual organic and inorganic chemicals, by specific separation techniques and their solid content adjusted in order to obtain the required tinctorial strength. Additionally, synthesis dyes could be formulated in order to reach the proper hue or specific features.
Finished products, mainly black shades, are characterized by a high level of colour purity, by the absence of impurities which are critical towards application features or affect safety classification.
Synthesis products, in form of liquid aqueous solutions, include metalcomplex dyes for nylon and wool obtained by a metal complexation reactions, acid dyes for leather and reactive dyes for cotton obtained by diazotization and coupling reactions and sulphur dyes for cotton obtained by a reduction reaction.
