Bonding Performance, Engineered to Last

Polyurethane adhesive solutions designed to deliver reliable bonding performance under real processing and end-use conditions, balancing strength, flexibility and durability across demanding applications.

Chemistry

Engineered Polyurethane Chemistry for Reliable Bonding

Polyurethane adhesive systems are developed through controlled reactions between polyols and isocyanates, creating polymer architectures tailored to specific bonding requirements. Depending on processing conditions, performance targets and sustainability goals, these systems are formulated as waterborne dispersions or solvent-based solutions.

The choice between aromatic and aliphatic isocyanate chemistries plays a central role in defining adhesive behavior. Aromatic systems provide high reactivity, strong mechanical performance and cost efficiency, while aliphatic systems are selected when superior color stability, UV resistance and long-term aesthetic performance are required.

During application and curing, polymer chains organize into cohesive and flexible networks that wet, anchor and bond substrates effectively. Adhesion results from a balanced combination of chemical interactions, mechanical interlocking and elastic polymer structures capable of absorbing stress without failure

Applications

Reliable Adhesion Across Real Applications

Polyurethane-based adhesives play a key role wherever strong, flexible and durable bonding is required under real manufacturing and use conditions. Available in both waterborne and solvent-based technologies, these solutions ensure excellent adhesion to a wide variety of substrates while maintaining resistance to mechanical stress, ageing and environmental exposure.

Waterborne polyurethane systems support the transition toward more sustainable adhesive technologies, while solvent-based grades deliver robust performance for the most demanding processes. Across applications, bonding performance is designed to remain stable during forming, handling, washing and long-term use.

Blister Packaging
Reliable bonding between plastic films such as PVC, PET or PETG and substrates including aluminum foil or paperboard. Adhesion integrity is maintained throughout thermoforming, filling and handling, while meeting performance and regulatory requirements.

Textile Lamination
Durable lamination between woven and non-woven fabrics, knitted textiles and functional membranes or films (PU, TPU, PES). Adhesive systems preserve softness, elasticity and breathability while resisting washing, abrasion and ageing.

Printing & Packaging
Strong interlayer adhesion for multilayer structures involving plastic films, paper and aluminum foil. These systems provide good chemical and mechanical resistance and compatibility with both waterborne and solvent-based processes, supporting high-quality and durable packaging solutions.
