REACH (Registration, Evaluation and Authorization of Chemical) is the EU (European Union) legislation for chemical substances, representing the most sophisticated regulatory framework on chemicals and providing one of the highest level of protection in the world.
A more effective implementation of REACH will bring more consistency in application of already more than 40 pieces of legislation, governing production and use of chemicals.
Starting from June 1st 2008 and following requirements for regulated substances monitoring, all the substances produced or imported in the EU in a quantity exceeding 1 ton/year must be registered through the submission of a specific dossier to the ECHA, the European Chemical Agency in Helsinki

Lamberti guarantees the continuous updating of management systems and documentations to current regulations, evaluating the compliance and/or the positioning of the products as required in certain business units by the Institutions and the Customers.
Lamberti assures communication among the manufacturers and / or the importers and the downstream users, providing REACH declarations and Safety Data Sheets of its products in order to allow the customers to trace with REACH regulation.
In addition to the mandatory requirements, Lamberti is a frontline player within the ECHA – Cefic (European Chemical Industry Council) collaboration on dossier compliance, voluntary reviewing and improving registration processes and dossiers.
Lamberti follows the future evolution of REACH regulation which represents a pillar of EU’s Chemicals Strategy for Sustainability, as part of the EU’s Green Deal, taking in account the development of innovative and safer alternatives to Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC), promoting a better protection of the human health and the environment.
