The Scale of Commitment

In the last decade, design has shown a strong interest in lighter, more durable, or sustainable materials—those that ensure performance throughout their lifecycle. This interest also drives the research and development of innovative chemical ingredients that enable the creation of materials with unprecedented properties, opening up new possibilities.
Chemistry nurtures design in the quest for solutions, beauty, quality, durability, and accessibility.
However, this only works if it is measured

Measurement in chemistry is not just about data collection; it is a process that validates hypotheses, discovers new laws, and improves performance.

Measuring the Life Cycle Assessment

Measuring the Life Cycle Assessment

Measuring the Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) of a chemical product allows us to gather useful information to reduce the environmental impact of materials, choose more sustainable alternatives and improve production processes.
Design can be carried out to create products with a lower environmental impact throughout their lifecycle.

The results of LCA studies can be used to transparently communicate the environmental impact of a chemical material to our clients, who can then detail this information to their consumers and stakeholders.

International standards

International standards

LCA studies, from data collection to modeling and data presentation, follow international standards such as ISO 14040 and ISO 14044. Currently, the most significant market demand is for calculating the carbon footprint of a product, performed in accordance with ISO 14067.

The decision to create an in-house team of LCA experts was necessary for us to achieve accurate and precise measurements, almost impossible to achieve without the expertise and the the close collaboration of the colleagues from the various functions directly involved , from R&D to purchasing and regulatory, from engineering to production and logistic.

The different case studies prepared demonstrate that the expertise developed by our team allows us not only to meet the specific needs of various clients in different application sectors but also to engineer new, more sustainable products for future generations.
