 New Photovoltaic Plant Powers Sustainability

The new photovoltaic plant in Trissino is now fully operative

🌱As part of Lamberti Group’s decarbonization roadmap and broader sustainability objectives, a new photovoltaic energy project was launched in June 2023 to support on-site energy self-production and reduce dependence on grid electricity.

🌞The solution involved the installation of rooftop solar panels, carefully designed to meet environmental, landscape, and safety regulations. The photovoltaic system—designed and installed by EsseSolar—is now fully operational, generating 135 MWh/year of renewable electricity. Of this, 70% is used directly on-site, while any surplus is fed into the public grid.🌞

The energy produced covers 35% of the site's total energy needs, enabling a reduction in emissions equivalent to 34 tons of CO₂ per year.🌱

This successful implementation demonstrates how environmental sustainability and economic efficiency can go hand in hand.

👏 A special thanks goes to the Lamberti project team - Igino Antonaci, Andrea Bienati, Fabio Fracca, Stefania Mercatali, Marco Morgavi -  for their commitment and collaboration.

This is another concrete step in Lamberti’s ongoing commitment to shaping a more sustainable future through innovation and responsibility.
