1^ Feira Aberta de Empreendedores
From Ideas to Enterprise: a Marketplace of Growth and Opportunity
Reading time: 3 min
On June 12, Lamberti Brazil hosted the 1st Feira Aberta de Empreendedores at its Nova Odessa site, marking an important milestone in the ongoing journey of Lamberti Transforma, a project developed and managed by Aventura de Construir (AdC) and supported by Lamberti Brasil since 2021.
The initiative was launched during the Covid-19 pandemic to support women and low-income residents in the Nova Odessa area who were facing economic uncertainty and the risk of losing their livelihoods. What began as a response to an immediate social need has evolved into a long-term entrepreneurship development program, helping participants acquire the skills, confidence and knowledge needed to build sustainable micro-businesses.
Over the years, Lamberti Transforma has provided training and mentoring in key areas such as business management, financial planning and marketing. Through this support, participants have been able to transform their talents and ideas into income-generating activities, creating new opportunities for themselves and their families.
A Fair of Talent and Opportunity
The 1st Feira Aberta de Empreendedores represented the culmination of this journey. The event aimed to provide women entrepreneurs with a dedicated space to showcase and sell their products, increase the visibility of their businesses, strengthen networking opportunities and exchange experiences with fellow entrepreneurs. It also offered practical learning opportunities to support sustainable business growth, while engaging Lamberti employees, their families and the local community in supporting women-led entrepreneurship.
Despite challenging weather conditions, with rain throughout the day affecting attendance, the event was successfully carried out. Participants were welcomed with breakfast before the fair officially opened near the Lamberti parking area. Three entrepreneurs attended in person, presenting and selling handmade products, while confectionery items from additional entrepreneurs were also available. The fair remained open from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., welcoming visitors throughout the day.
Workshops on Digital Marketing and on Photography for Entrepreneurs
Beyond the marketplace itself, the event included two practical training sessions designed to further strengthen entrepreneurial capabilities. Débora Pinheiro led a workshop on Photography for Entrepreneurs, providing tips on how to better present products through images, while Ana Carolina Ferrari Soares delivered a session on Digital Marketing for Small Businesses, offering practical guidance on how entrepreneurs can improve their online visibility and reach new customers.
The fair generated valuable opportunities for learning, connection and collaboration. Entrepreneurs from different editions of the project were able to meet, share experiences and expand their professional networks. The participation of volunteers who had previously benefited from the initiative was particularly meaningful, highlighting the long-term impact of the project and demonstrating how former participants are now contributing to support the next generation of entrepreneurs.
Although attendance was lower than expected due to the weather, the event successfully achieved its broader objectives of promoting entrepreneurship, strengthening community ties and increasing the visibility of local businesses. Most importantly, it celebrated the determination, creativity and resilience of the entrepreneurs whose journeys reflect the lasting impact that can be achieved when companies, non-profit organizations and communities work together to create opportunities for sustainable social and economic development.
