Lamberti at the Milan Marathon

The finish line is just the beginning

By Communication Team

Reading time: 1 minute

April 12 was not just race day. It was the moment when everything came together: months of preparation, teamwork, and commitment turned into real energy along the streets of Milan.

Eight teams, thirty-two colleagues, one shared direction.

Each leg of the race was much more than a performance: it was determination, team spirit, and the drive to be part of something meaningful.

It was a truly enjoyable experience: there was great energy and a vibrant, engaging atmosphere that really fired us all up.

Chiara Matricardi – I Radicali Liberi

The results also tell the story of this extraordinary experience:

  • Passi di Solidarietà – 2h 56m 09s
  • RuN2ErS – 3h 27m 25s
  • Ironman – 3h 39m 57s
  • I Radicali Liberi – 3h 41m 40s
  • Slow Helpers – 3h 50m 48s
  • The Chemical Brothers Squad – 3h 58m 26s
  • ZeroxRunners – 3h 59m 12s
  • PolymerRunners – 4h 34m 03s

Different times, one great achievement: running together for something that truly matters.

A special thank you to all our runners, who brought Lamberti’s values to the streets with enthusiasm and dedication. And thanks as well to everyone who supported this project, contributing to the fundraising efforts and helping create a tangible impact.

The feeling you get when taking part in a race is indescribable, both because of the location and the effort you put into training. But the most important thing is knowing you are running for a good cause, where even a small contribution can make a difference.

Giuseppe Grizzuti – Passi di Solidarietà

Because the real finish line is not just the one crossed during the race, but what we were able to build together: supporting children with special needs, giving them opportunities for growth, inclusion, and joy.

The cause is very important. It was a pleasure to run (and push through the effort!) to support the association through fundraising. I believe initiatives like this should happen more often, involving even more people.

Luca Quaglia – Ironman

The marathon ends, but the value of what we achieved continues.

The enthusiasm of the crowd and the energy you feel at every kilometer literally carry you forward. That atmosphere pushes you to give your best, to keep going, and to overcome your limits

Catia Basilico – ZeroxRunners

The atmosphere was positive throughout the entire time. Everyone supported and congratulated one another.

Christian Somigliana - RuN2ErS

One of our teams, from the Viguzzolo plant – The Chemical Brothers Squad – is currently ranked 3rd in the “Top Employee Relay Fundraisers” leaderboard. The updated ranking is available on Rete del Dono.

The fundraising campaign, for award purposes, will remain open until April 30, 2026 (with bank transfer donations accepted until April 25), so there is still time to contribute and further improve the ranking.

Considering the overall results, Lamberti is already achieving excellent performance, especially in relation to the number of organizations participating in the marathon. For this reason, this final push can truly make a difference.

The Viguzzolo team has a strong chance of reaching 1st place. This would be a significant achievement not only for the four colleagues running, but also for the entire company, which would be recognized and mentioned on stage during the Awards ceremony.

On the day of the marathon, we felt the support and warmth of our friends and colleagues, and this was the motivation that pushed us to give our best during the race and to overcome the fatigue and challenges of that day.

Giulia Di Cristofaro - The Chemical Brothers Squad

The charitable purpose gave me the boost I needed to tackle with strength and joy the kilometers that still separated me from the finish: it was very emotional, and I’m happy to have made my contribution.

Silvia Osnaghi - Slow Helpers
