Transformando Trajetórias
Five Years of Empowering Vulnerable Entrepreneurs
Reading time: 2 min
What began in 2021 as a local initiative to support vulnerable microentrepreneurs in the Nova Odessa, SP region of Brazil has grown into a long-term commitment to sustainable social impact.
Over the years, the project, organized and managed by Aventura de Construir, a local NGO specialized in the development of low-income entrepreneurs from the outskirts of São Paulo and Brazil. has evolved through different editions, each one building on the experience and lessons of the previous one.
Transformando Trajetórias
The 2026 edition of Lamberti Transforma project maintains the same mission of previous years: helping disadvantaged entrepreneurs, especially women, strengthen their businesses and create lasting economic opportunities for themselves and their communities.
Rather than focusing on traditional charity, the initiative is based on a simple but powerful belief: real and lasting change comes from empowerment. For this reason, the program provides entrepreneurs with practical tools, professional guidance, and a supportive network that enables them to grow sustainably and independently.
The 2026 edition continues this vision through a structured program tailored to the real needs of small business owners. Participants receive training in key entrepreneurial skills such as financial management, budgeting, business plans, cost control, marketing and social media, networking and partnership. The project also offers one-to-one mentoring during critical business phases, access to support networks, and seed funding opportunities for the most promising business plans.
This year’s program has already reached significant numbers:
- 42 new entrepreneurs registered
- 41 experienced entrepreneurs enrolled
- 50 baseline interviews conducted to better understand participants’ businesses and personal circumstances
The social impact is particularly meaningful because the vast majority of participants are women. In fact:
- 88 % of participating businesses are led by women
- 69 % of participants identify as Black or Brown
- Around 80% of participants earn up to two minimum wages (around 550 €/month), highlighting the importance of accessible entrepreneurial support.
The initiative combines online and in-person activities, including recorded training sessions, group meetings, personalized coaching, and extracurricular workshops focused on emotional resilience, culture, and comunity building.
Participants are also connected to the Avante Empreendedor Network, a broader ecosystem involving more than 300 entrepreneurs supported by Aventura de Construir.
The Network's main channel of communication is the Entrepreneurial Review monthly meetings, held online and exclusively for entrepreneurs who participate or have participated in Aventura de Construir projects where the entrepreneurs themselves share challenges, achievements, and lessons learned, building a solid and inspiring support network
Over five years, Lamberti Transforma has become much more than a training program.
It is now a growing community of entrepreneurs supporting one another, sharing experiences, and building stronger futures together.
For Lamberti, this initiative reflects a long-term commitment to creating sustainable value in the communities where the company operates, investing not only in businesses, but in people, dignity, and opportunity.
